General Terms & Conditions

Khao Sok Rafthouse is part of the Khao Sok Travel network, operated by Khao Sok Travel Co., Ltd., a licensed tour operator in Thailand (TAT License No. 34/03189).

Business Description

We provide lake tours, floating bungalow stays, private boat transfers, and travel packages at Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchaprapha Dam), Khao Sok National Park, Thailand.

All services are operated directly or in coordination with licensed local partners and are delivered as described on this website.

Booking & Payment Terms

All reservations are subject to availability and final confirmation.

A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the selected package or service.

All bookings must be secured with a valid payment method. Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers such as Stripe and Omise.

We do not store or have direct access to your full credit card details. All payment information is handled directly by the respective payment providers in accordance with their security and compliance standards.

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (THB). Currency conversion rates may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

Pricing Policy

Prices may vary depending on season, availability, and selected accommodation.

Peak season, high-demand periods, or special event surcharges may apply.

Additional costs may apply for upgrades, private services, or special requests.

Age Policy

Infant (0–4 years): Free of charge (no extra bed or seat provided)

Child (4–7 years): May be charged at a reduced rate depending on the selected program and inclusions

Adult (7 years and above): Full adult rate applies

For certain private or customized packages, pricing may be applied per person regardless of age.

Package Booking Policy

Deposit Payment

All deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including voluntary cancellation by the customer.

Full Payment

Cancellation 45 days before arrival: 40% refund
Cancellation 30 days before arrival: 20% refund
Cancellation 15 days or less before arrival: No refund

No refunds will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused services.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and will only be considered valid once confirmed by our team.

​

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method and may be subject to transaction fees or administrative charges.

Tour & Activity Policy

For day tours and lake activities:

Cancellation 30 days before service: Full refund
Cancellation 15 days before service: 20% refund
Cancellation within 7 days: No refund

Schedules and activities may vary depending on weather conditions, water levels, and operational requirements.

Itinerary & Operational Changes

All itineraries are subject to change due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Water levels at Cheow Lan Lake

  • National park regulations

  • Safety considerations

  • Operational or logistical factors

We reserve the right to modify services to ensure safety and maintain service quality.

Liability Disclaimer

Khao Sok Travel Co., Ltd. is not responsible for:

  • Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by third-party providers

  • Weather conditions or natural events

  • Accidents, personal injury, or loss or damage of personal belongings

All guests participate in activities at their own risk.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Government restrictions

  • Transport disruptions

  • Fuel shortages

  • Other unforeseen events

In such cases, services may be modified, postponed, or canceled. Refunds (if applicable) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
