The heaviest rains are between May and November, the driest period is between December and April; although even during that time there can still be some rain – there is always a fair chance to get wet when visiting a rainforest. How to get to these pick up locations? Airport Transfers: You can fly into any of the following airports with connecting flights via Bangkok and some direct flights from overseas into Phuket and Krabi: Surat Thani If travelling from Bangkok we would recommend flying into Surat Thani Airport (URT) on flight TG2251, arriving at 09:40am. You can catch a ferry from Koh Samui to the mainland and Donsak pier for further transfers by minibus or coach through to Khao Sok.
